Beginner Tumbling 1

Students will learn to push themselves to improve their total flexibility and strength to perform fundamental basic tumbling skills such as rolls, cartwheels, handstands, and walkovers safely, correctly and with good form.   This class is geared toward beginner students learning basic tumbling such as rolls, cartwheels, handstands, walkovers through standing back-handsprings. This class will introduce students to basic tumbling with the focus on good form and technique as well as building the confidence to perform skills correctly and safely.  This is a perfect class to learn the basics.

  • Thursday 5:00-6:00pm

 

Tumbling 2

Students will learn to push themselves to improve their total flexibility and strength to perform advanced  tumbling skills such as standing back tucks and connecting  round off with back handsprings, back handspring  back tucks  and connecting other  tumbling skills safely, correctly and with good form.

Students will be provided a fun and age appropriate environment to develop their overall strength, conditioning and flexibility in order to develop a strong foundation needed for competitive or recreational cheerleading.  All students will develop the concepts of spatial awareness, weight transfer, self-focus and discipline, personal space, and awareness to personal limitations. The instructor for all cheer/tumbling classes is Monica.
